My daughter, 8 months old, has completely rejected baby cereal and baby food jars. The doctor insists that she needs to take baby cereal in ensure she is getting her daily dose of iron. What should I do. Does anyone have any recipes using baby cereal in things like cookies, cakes, pancakes, etc?? She likes most finger foods.
Please help. I appreciate all your help in advance!

Do you have any wall papering to do? because to me, thats what baby cereals taste like..wall paper paste. but here you go...

Sorry to tell you, but your doctor is sorely misinformed. Contrary to popular myth, babies do NOT need rice cereal in their diet. Your baby is getting plenty of iron from breastmilk/formula. There are plenty of other foods you can feed your baby that contain iron. Steam up some broccoli, spinach, pastas, chicken, whatever, really and let baby have a go at it! She wants the real stuff!
