The Taiwanese President took the blame for the slow aid response after the typhoon, why didn't Bush..?

..do the same for Katrina victims?
The Taiwanese President immediately stood up like a MAN when asked about the slow response time after the typhoon. He said (paraphrasing) that he is the President and takes full blame for the incident.
So, why couldn't "W" man up about Katrina like this guy did?

Having lived on Taiwan, typhoons aren't all that uncommon but in America re; katrina, there was no precedent to predict how damaging she would be. ergo, you simply cannot blame Mr. Bush for mother nature's raw fury!

This is a typical Democratic reaction to anything, you should be asking why the mayor of New Orleans didn't use the 300 school buses he had to move those people out or why didn't the Governor do anything, they both sat on their hands while people died and blamed the federal government. FEMA did move too slow but to sit here and blame it all on Bush is ridiculous.

Hindsight is 20/20. Like one person said, he is gone, forget about it.
For your sake we hope Barry does everything perfect and does not need advisers or help. You probably think that the PResident acts on his own. Grow up.
Oh, by the way, have you ever been to Taiwan? It is about the size of Illinois, coincidence? ANd they have fistfights in the Parliament there. NOw that is a country to emulate.
