Did the tv show "The West Wing" influence the way you voted in the last presidential election?

Having just watched the entire 7 series of The West Wing" I'm curious as to whether that show had any influence on who you voted for in the 2008 election.

Did you vote Democrat as a result of the show? Did you vote Obama as a result of Santos winning the election in the show?

Conversely, did you vote against the Democrats/Obama because of the show?

Or did the show have no bearing at all on the way you voted?

Obviously this question is only open to US voters. Please don't reply if (a) you didn't watch the show, or (b) you didn't vote.

Just to add, I would have thought that "The West Wing" wouldn't have been the main reason why people voted a certain way, I just wonder if it had any influence at all.

No. From impressions I got, if you tended to be left-leaning/liberal you'd watch the show and be more likely to vote for Obama. Not to say conservatives didn't watch the show, of course.

I'm pretty sure there were commentaries about how similar the show was to the last election, but I have never heard of someone being to inspired to vote for Obama solely because of that show.

I based my decision on election day on things like experience, integrity, honesty, personal strength, moral issues.

Here's a great Mad TV parody of West Wing:

I rarely watched the show.

I might have seen an episode or two, but it was to boring .. like a political soap opera.

Nope. I only watched it a couple times.
