Can I run my attenuator at 16 ohms for an 8 ohm combo amp?
I like the way my combo amp and attenuator sound together when i put the attenuator at 16 ohms, but the combo amp is 8 ohms, It works fine as of now...but is it risky to my amp!

Usually the amp will be ok if it is designed for 8 ohms but is "seeing" 16 ohms. If the amp is connected to something lower than 8 ohms, like a bunch of speakers wired in parallel, it could over heat and fail but 16 ohms should be OK
