can i change my nissan rogue after its already bought?
my parents bought me a nissan rogue except when they went to the dealership to buy it, they didnt take me with them because it was supposed to be a surprise. so as a result, i didnt get everything i would have wanted in it. if i take it to the dealership could they put stuff that i want in it without having to buy a new car?

I agree with the first 2 posters about being thankful for what you have been given. However, I'm also a young woman and my parents bought me a Nissan Rogue. Pretty much everything can be added, but it will be very expensive if it's not bought with the original car. The only thing that you cannot change is the AWD vs. FWD. If you want tinted windows, a moon roof, or leather, go to a custom car place. Definitely get a few quotes on what you want to do, but Nissan will probably charge more than custom shops. Personally, unless your parents want to add things for you, I would just enjoy the car. It's a great car and you don't really NEED the luxury features.
ADD: Actually leather is better to get aftermarket. It's only about $1000 and you can upgrade the leather to whatever you like. The leather option is almost $4000 more than the base SL. If you don't want the other options that come with that package, then it is best to go aftermarket. I'll be upgrading my Rogue to leather once my fabric wears out.
Have you ever heard "don't look a gift horse in the mouth" Blue Tooth Steering wheel controls paddle shifters Fog lights and other features have to be factory installed. And in many cases are not available to retro fit from Nissan. You are very fortunate some one went out and purchased a nearly $20,000 car. That Rogue might have been all they could afford. Please be thankful drive that Rogue 4 or 5 years don't break your parents hearts. When you earn your own money buy what you want.
Wow do NOT get a moonroof, leather, etc. For the most part the options are not worth getting after you have bought the car. Pretty much the only thing that is possible is changing the radio if you wanted ipod compatibility or different wheels. Everything else is not worth the investment to try and fit onto the car.
john paul says it all. no one gave me a car either. i was given 30 days to find a job. and another 30 to find a place to live . so i became all i could be and joined the marines.
