I have been around riyadh, trying to find where can I put all the glass bottles.
I know there are lot of trash cans, but Glass Bottles are recyclable. Is there any place to hand over glass bottles in Riyadh.

Thanks all I have lot of Holsten beer and sauce bottles, I have anyway packed them seperate, the plastics and glass seperate.
I hope in future, we would have some seperate trash collector bin.

I do recycle. We have a recycling program on our compound. I wish they will give us bins for paper though because I don't know where to take that. I do glass, aluminum, and plastic. It makes me feel a lot better than throwing it all in the trash, especially since we use a lot of plastic water bottles.
I also hope if we could get some seperated trash collector bin but we are in Saudi Arabia and i don't think that would happen even after a hundred years.. so sad!
I sack up my aluminum cans seperately for the garbage collectors, they seem to dig in the trash bins outside our villa late in the night/early morning hours collecting cans. so I just help them out a bit. I think theres a metal plant in Dammam they can take their cans and sell for a small bit per kilo
i live in Dammam and my dad works in Aramco compound so i try to go there as much as i can and take what i collected from " glass " because i drink Holsten beer so much and when i go to Aramco i put them in the recycle can :D
