You know me, I was just going to write a question about this.
My Favorite song has to be either Bittersweet Symphony, Lucky Man, or History. I really like his solo work but there is just something about the band I like better.
That hole concert he did at Glastonbury was just amazing (the hole thing is on youtube). I so wish I could have gone to that.
Sympathy For The Devil Poison Ivy Honky Tonk Woman Dead Flowers I Got The Blues Wild Horses Brown Sugar You Can't Always Get What You Want Jumpin' Jack Flash 19th Nervous Breakdown Under The Boardwalk Suzie Q Mother's Little Helper Can't decide. And I do realize that some of the songs I listed are covers, but they're still great.
Happy Birthday Richard. I don't really follow the band or him but, the only song I've heard has been the Bittersweet Symphony which is also in the movie Cruel Intentions. The Original one! I'm sure it's not the only movie that has played that song. The video was simple but, I like it as well as the song. It's bright and early so, I can't really listen to the ones posted here at this time. I'll take your word on it Hunch Punch as you and I have similar music tastes not completely but, close enough to know that we would probably agree on the same musical stylings of certain groups. Other stuff not so much. I agree to disagree when it comes to the "out of the box" music you like. LOL Take care sweetie and the rest of my R&P family.
My favorite song by The Verve is "Rather Be" but "Love Is Noise" is just a spectacular song. I saw that song once on TV a year or so ago, I couldn't catch it's name and I had that tune in mind for the entire following year; I asked a question about it on Y!A trying to figure out the song or the artist's name but it wasn't until a year later I had come upon that song on my own iPod; it was on one of a latest hits CD I had gotten from someone.
Hi, Punch! What's the news? How day Richard was born - September 11 th?! It's good things like these happen, for we figure out that the life is really bigger than we think that it is... Losses in a moment; glories in another time! Well, my e-pal Punch, I'm not much a fan of Verve or Richard, but I'll write down my private classic from that band: BITTERSWEET SYMPHONY It's that way I "understand" The Verve... If it couldn't be in their stuff, maybe I couldn't know anything them! That one is prettttttttty gorgeous! Bye!!!!!!!!
