Ladies, do you do this?

Over the years, I've seen many emails come across my desk, that offer safety tips (what to do if approached by a rapist, how to safely leave work after dark, etc.).

One of the themes that consistently shows up in these emails, is the concept that "Women have a tendency to get into their cars
after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit
(doing their check book, or making a list, etc.)"

Do you do that? Do you sit in your car an balance your check book? I don't, and as far as I can tell, I don't know anybody who does.

I know, it's entirely trivial, but it has been bothering me for years now. Just wondering if I'm missing out on part of being a woman...

Lol.. no I don't. And even if I have to put something away right after getting in my car, I lock the doors right after I get in anyways so nobody can get me.

But, I can maybe see how some people would, like if they paid with a check and they want to adjust their checkbook to make sure it's accurate, incase they forget about it later.

I've never even heard of such a thing, why would anyone do that? I look into the figures when I get home and so does every one I know.
