Republicans, would you want the economy to recover if you KNOW it meant Obama was going to be re-elected?

If you had to pick one of the following to happen, which would you pick?

1) The economy completely recovers, but Obama and a liberal majority in Congress get re-elected.

2) The economy tanks, and Obama and most of Congress get voted out.

On the flip side, if somehow improving the economy meant Obama would get voted out, I would, of course, wish to have the economy but not Obama.

Regardless weather the economy recovers in this communist society we live in right now or not we are still left with the largest deficit in the history of this country. My great grandchildren will still be feeling the effects of this administration and my child is not even 6 months old yet. I still say spending trillions of dollars, I can't even comprehend that number, was not the answer. The only thing that accomplished was rewarding those for making bad decisions.

Oh yea, socialism is taking the nation, ****rolls eyes**** blah blah blah

Guys, the Dow closed at 10,000 for the first time in a year!
The Euro and the Brit pound are at 1.46 and 1.59 to our American Dollar, and these are considered "socialistic" countries.
The peso is at 13.06 to the US $ - that hasn't changed much in 4 yrs!

What is the problem here? Things are looking up, the dollar and the rest of the worlds currencies are holding, sales are rising slowly, people are getting back to somewhat normal lives, and you are complaining about Obama and his supposedly "socialistic" ideals.
The US has suffered most in the last 5 yrs than it has in 30 yrs. England and most of Europe had less damage to the effect on the recession as a global market than we did. Why? Their socialistic policies you all keep harping about saved their butts.
There is a fine balance in capitalism and socialism within a country. We are working on finding it. We are so close to balancing it but those who do not see outside the box will always hide in their shells till the world reverts back to the 1950's way of life. We have to move forward people and blaming our current president is not how it gets done. I can hear most of you say as you sit in your homes with those you trust stating "That Obama is a danger to society, what made people think a Black man could do it?" or "See, I told you that if he got in office he would be against the real ideas that need to be implemented, but you know THOSE kinds of people"
You know the truth, the only problem anyone has with his policies (that most everyone in this country was wanting these kinds of changes to the current issues) is that he scares the living day lights out of those who are more worried about his ethnicity and his birth than they are about him ACTUALLY doing the job he was hired for.
Good luck with that people. We will be right back where Bush left off when he is gone and the who will you blame for the down turn then?

Any real American would say number 1. We all want success, just different ways of getting there. However, at what cost did the economy recover? By tripling the national deficit only for a hort rebound until the value of the dollar is non existent? In this case I would take a slow recovery to slowly build up the economy.

I'm pro-America. I'll take the positive for America, even if it meant the Democrats would still be in control.

But it's not something I feel I'll have to wrestle with, because I do not see how the Democrats' policies will lead to an economic recovery with full recovery of employment. The stock market may recover, but employment? Not with all those taxes coming.

The closest recent comparison would be Clinton who had a good (but stock bubble) economy but made a lot of bad personal decisions. I guess my problem with Obama is that he is a lot more of a socialist and extremist than Clinton was (govt seizing private business, gays in the military, health care at any cost, etc).

So, since I think the country needs Obama gone more than I need the economy to pick up I would go for #2 and kick Obama and that witch Pelosi and Reid out.
