MotoGP: JB & Rossi to Ducati..... "Laughable".....?

Question

Well even though Rossi has not said NO to the move, and neither really has his crew chief Jeremy Burgess, JB has said to MCN that the move is "Laughable".

The problem I find with making statments to the press like this, is they dont say YES (we) are moving to Ducati nor do they say NO (we) are NOT going red.
Saying its laughable is not good enough !! Its was deemed laughable when the 2 of them moved to Yamaha, but after the first race when Rossi won, everybody stopped laughing.

Does JB & VR need another massive challange ? I know Rossi does not, as all he wants now is Ago's 123 record so he can put a stopper in to all the haters. I dont think changing to the big red beast would be a smart move for that.

As for JB ? I think he is almost getting a little bored of winning !
If you think that before Rossi he had the God like Mick Doohan with a massive 54 wins in the Blue Ribbon Class, and before that he and Erv Kanemoto won almost every race that a HRC Honda won. So I really dont think he needs to make another bike ( the GP11 as it will be ) a world beating bike.

Ducati, with thier WSB knowhow, should be able to do that them selves.

So what are your thoughts on the whole Rossi - Ducati move ?
Do you think it will happen ?

Hello Wiggysan,
I only think this is possible if Valentino feels miserable during 2010 and IÂ´m positive Masao Furosawa and team will do everything to prevent this fall. It wonÂ´t be easy since he offered Lorenzo equal terms, and he brought Ben Spies a year earlier than expected, but he has the whole 2010 season to charm Valentino and convince him to retire as a Yamaha rider. 

So perhaps Furosawa san will have to let go Lorenzo, or forget about Spies or give Valentino a much deserved number one rider status. He certainly does not want to be the one who let Rossi go elsewhere. To accomplish this he also needs a little push by their sponsors.

edit.- Great links by the gorgeous racer. I was not aware what the Italian press has been saying. (Not that itÂ´s the necessarily the truth, though)  Perhaps thatÂ´s the reason for Yamaha to pursuit both Lorenzo and Spies. WeÂ´ll see....

I agree with Ciccio's answer, But would like to add, would Yamaha like to think they threw (Lorenzo / Spies) away, after Rossi's day. which isnt too far away.  Im sure they  JB & VR are thinking about it, even if they are not admitting to it.  there is a long winter to spark a few rumours. the races up to Brno next season should prove interesting. if thats Yamaha's cut off date for contract signing.

Do you think I need to remind you Ben is coming.  Make way for a new God.

it could be... so sad but if that what he want, we have to trade in our yamaha to ducati's next year, 
VR seems like to ride every power machine. he want to show to us every bike is the same, only the rider shouldn't be remain. he ride honda, and he won, then he goes to yamaha, also he won. 
look want happen to poor nicky?
this season ducati not really gave challenge to him, so might be next season Rossi want to prove to stoner he can be champion too, even he ride ducati.
