Talkative Boyfriend help!?

My BF likes to Talk alot!  I can't get a word in edgewise.  His stories are always interesting, however, they are never recent stories.  Also because he talks so much he never really listens to anything i say which gets him into embarrassing situations when we are out.  I'll start to talk and he interrupts me or talks over me till i stop.  The look of irritation is not lost on those around him, just him.  His lack of interest in finding out about me or what interests me has become a bit annoying and a sore spot in our relationship.  Is there a way i can get him to listen to me or should i just drop it and find someone new who will listen to me every once and a while?

Relationships are two-way streets.  If he's too busy being selfish to listen to you then you should try explain that he needs to listen to you too

If not then he can talk to the wall because you'll be with someone else that does listen.

Snd go from there, depending on his reaction. He might've gotten the wrong idea that you don't like to talk, or he's just trying to look cool... Just ask him.
