If I have a degree in Psychology, could i get a job as a....?

person who works in prisions and evaulates people of that nature? Or in an Insane Asylum? Thats why I am pursing this career, and im pretty sure I am able to, but I dont know where to start looking and what degree is required to work in those conditions.

Any infromation? I am searching the internet and im not having any luck yet.

You will need a graduate degree to do these things. For psychology you will need a PhD, and for psychiatry you will need an MD, both four years of graduate school beyond a bachelors degree. The other possibility is to get an MS of social work, which only requires two years beyond a bachelors degree.
