There are just as many quacks in the alternative medicine field as there are mds who are greedy,arrogant or have poor personal relation skill or simply feel they are 'special",superior and above relating all together.
At the same time there are just as many thorough,caring,interested in truth & scientifically proven treatments(when funding is available for such studies) practitioners of alternative medicine as there are thorough,caring,interested in truth & scientifically proven treatments(when funding is available for such studies) medical practitioners.
Do some research into herbal medicine in germany and china.You will find it is much more integrated there then US with medical practitioners prescribing herbal medicine & it also being used in hospitals.Also there are many studies you can find that arnt available in US
