Book Recommendations? (Series Preferably)?

I am close to finishing the final book in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series and I cant figure out what to read next. I like comedy, drama, and romance. I prefer long books and series if possible.

(And please don't only say Twilight. I want to find some books I haven't heard of a million times before)

Thanks!

Well, you could try Harry Potter - you probably heard that a million times before though.

I recommend His Dark Materials - the first book is excellent, the second not so much, and I haven't read the third but the series is one of my favourites. Also, try A Series of Unfortunate Events, I've only read the first 4 books but they're very good, imo.

percy jackson and the lightning theif by rick
- this book is so refreshly awesome compared to same stuff thats out there.

dark lover by j.r. ward ( The blackdagger brotherhood Series)
it's different to all the other vampire book and the love in this is really intense.
"In the shadows of the night in Caldwell, New York, there's a deadly turf war going on between vampires and their slayers. There exists a secret band of brothers like no other-six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. Yet none of them relishes killing more than Wrath, the leader of The Black Dagger Brotherhood but fate brings beth into his life as he must usher the beautiful female into the world of the undead.."
-is adultish like true blood but better!!

City of Bones By Cassandra Clare

She soon is thrown into the shadow hunter world and discovers that her life has been built on lies and is torn between love and family secrets.
- stephenie meyer reccommends this book series
"“A story world I love to live in” and "Dear Edward and Jacob: I adore you both. But I'm spending the weekend with Jace. Sorry! Love, Stephenie"

Cirque du Freak: a Living nightmare by Darren shan
- His life changes when he enters cirque du freak. The world of Darren Shan is a harsh world, a testing world. It's a place of poisonous spiders, savage wolf-men, killers.

Peeps by Scott Westerfeld
First rule: Don't call them vampires. That's just a ridiculous term. The proper label is parasite-positives, or "peeps."
Second rule: Whatever you do, don't forget the anathema, when peeps start hating the things they used to love. The anathema hurts, but in a good way

the hunger games by suzannr collins
" there can only be one winner"

uglies by scott westerfeld
"ugly until age 16 when they'll undergo an operation that will change them into pleasure-seeking "pretties." Society making everyone look the same, cause we all wanted perfection now we have it but I still isn’t good enough? Loving someone for WHO they are and not what they look like

Midnighters : The Secret Hour by scott westerfeld
Nobody is safe in the secret hour.
Strange things happen at midnight in the town of Bixby, Oklahoma.
Time freezes.
Nobody moves.
For one secret hour each night, the town belongs to the dark creatures that haunt the shadows. Only a small group of people know about the secret hour -- only they are free to move about the midnight time.
