I have this argumentative essay I have to write for WR121.. It needs to be 3 pages, and I get to write whatev.?

Now, I was looking online for ideas about what to write.. Problem is, I don't care about anything enough to sway one way or another on, or at least I know well enough one way to not want to think about it any further.. Maybe what I say doesn't make sense, but I need help.

What should I write my essay on. Keep the ideas coming please.

I think you should write about health care or you should write about what you think about the new president.. Something that will help you argue with your classmates ..kind of like a debate..

For instance, write about healthcare and look up on the internet why is healthcare important and why do we need it.. and just copy and paste all the information and change some difficult words that you dont understand

I suggested this a few weeks ago to someone, but it was too late as she had chosen something already. But this is something you can definitely check out online, and it may even be something you would discover you have an opinion about.

Last summer, a LI mom left a vacation site with a carfull of kids -- her husband went on ahead because he had to go to work. It was in the a.m., and all anybody really knows is that an hour or so later, she entered a very, very busy expressway driving the wrong way. She hit an oncoming car, killed everyone in it and everyone in her own car, herself included, except for one child. On autopsy, she was determined to be drunk and stoned.

There is a DA on Long Island who wants to begin prosecuting DUI 'accidents' that result in deaths not as accidents at all, but as murder, even murder-1. She claims that when you drink to the point of limiting your response time and diminishing your facility for sound judgment, then climb behind the wheel, that constitutes intent under the law. And when there is a death as the result of intent, that constitutes, not an accident, but murder, and you are not just culpable, but responsible.

In another recent event here in NYC, a woman picked up some little girls to drive them to a slumber party. She was drinking cognac and driving, and her husband, when he saw she had a bottle and was going to drive the kids to the party, took his little baby out of the car, but let her drive off with other people's kids. She was speeding on her way to the slumber party (80 to 100 mph) and drinking out of the cognac bottle. The little girls with her were afraid, and they asked her to slow down. What? She asked them -- are you scared? Think I'm going too fast? And she sped up. And she crashed. And a little girl was killed. The little girl's father has ramrodded a bill through the state senate to have drivers who drink and drive with kids in the car guilty of a felony.

But when they kill, are they murderers?
