I have never bought bowl tickets before. I applied for tickets through the university, but won't know if I get them for several days. Then there are random tickets available through ticket websites. How do I know what side of field I want to be on or when it might be too late to get tickets.
I could use some help from experienced football fans.

Best and safest way would be to just be patient with your university. Give them a couple weeks and if u haven't been contacted or received the tickets by then, U should look else where. But give them a little time for now. They are probably getting swamped with tickets purchases.

Ticket websites, you could research the College BOWL stadium to view the seating arrangements, then when ordering tickets you'll have a better idea of the best selection that is affordable to you

I highly doubt you would have to pay for another seat if she's going to sit in your lap the entire time. I would only think you'd have to buy another ticket if she were going to sit in a seat. Have you tried calling the stadium(or wherever it's being held) and asking there?
