Will a poem about nature brighten your day?

Under a graying sky
A darkness towers above
Enveloped in warm velvet
A brisk and silky sky
Hurtling across the heavens
Hues of grey and blue
A blurry wisp of cloud
Pierced by towering pines
A ribbon of sap flows
Creeping around the knotty truck
Ants crawl slowly ‘round the bark
A hawk swoops softly overhead
Crisp breeze gently rustles the leaves
I am at peace.

Actually, strangely enough, to me, it puts me in a thoughtful, melancholy mood. It doesn't brighten my day up exactly, but it gets me thinking about things. I like it a lot, actually.

Hey, could you help me with my writing?

Some good imagery there. It made me quiet. It's a calming poem. Didn't exactly make me feel brighter though.
