Ipod touch 3rd generation?

Question

I have my ipod touch 3rd gen with me, my problem with it is that, why is it that i can transfer musics from my desktop to itouch, but cant transfer songs from itouch to my desktop? Does anybody know how this process can be done? coz i recently formatted my laptop and i want to get some songs from my itouch to my laptop... transferring to itouch is easy, coz all you need to do is just drag and drop songs from desktop to itunes.. reverse process is not working, please assist.

I use ipod access for windows, it's a good program that lets you copy any song you want from your ipod to your computer, or all your songs. The problem is that the trial only lets you do 100 songs, but I got the cracked version so I use it a lot, and I have never had problems.
