I have never been an Ohio State fan, but I never heard Jim Tressel speak before the end of the rose bowl. He was very grateful in his teams win over Oregon. Ohio state fans you are lucky to have such a leader at the helm in Jim Tressel. Congratulations Buckeyes.
I understand getting the losing bowl monkey off your back. It makes the win that much more important.

Hes a good man, great recruiter, good coach, bad play caller. But today he came out with out his conservative aproach and shut up the buckeye haters, in a classy Ohio State style of win.

I also was very upset at the call he made and also agree he was very classy when he apologized to Galarraga and the whole team. When the lineup cards were being exchanged before the next day's game and Galarraga was bringing out the card for his team and Joyce was crying that just shows how much it hurt him that he so obviously missed that call. Jim Joyce is a real class act in my book.

I only follow the Bucs in passing since I have family in Ohio, but live In TX...but, if losing BCS bowl games makes for a bad year and this guy gets knocked for that, I'd take it over the Houston Cougars showing yesterday!
As for Big 10 coaches being the best....I LOVE that commercial they do where JoePa says "COME TO PENN STATE!" like he is getting a wedge or something...

Agreed, I always love watching him. Here in central Ohio there is a 1/2 hour show that Tressel is on every week before a game, he is an inspiration.
