do you gain weight due to the weight of the substance you eat?
for example, if you drank a lot of water, would the weight of the water you consumed make you heavier? cuz i feel really fat and bloated but ive eaten really healthy today. i had about 2 cups of black coffee and i look and feel really bloated.

Technically yes, you'll weigh more but only for the same reason if you put a bottle of water in your pocket you'd weigh more - you'd be weighing the weight of the water in your stomach as well as your own body weight. Once you get rid of the water (urination, primarily), you'll have a better reading on what your own weight is and not the weight of the food/water in your stomach. This is why nearly everyone recommends weighing yourself first thing in the morning just after using the bathroom.
As for coffee, it can cause you to retain water, especially if you're female (depending on where you are in your cycle). Drink a glass or two of water and the feeling will pass in a day or two.
