Mechanics My 2003 Nissan Altima Service Engine Soon Light Stays On.?

I took my 2003 Nissan Altima to the dealer and it was hook up to their diagnostic equipment, at the time, the "Service Engine Soon" light would periodically stay on for several minutes then go out. If it came on when I was driving the car would run really rough. When the light went out, it would run smoothly. The Technician said nothing showed up on diagnostics and that I should bring it in while the light is on.

Today the light came on and stayed on. My appointment is for Thursday. Any ideas as to what I need to have done to the car?

If your light is staying on now, then you should get the diagnostics codes pulled and they will tell you why the light is on.
