Oh my god.
I just saw the trailer.
it looks like a 90s action movie, but the story is great

Jin looks a little childish, Lei and Paul are no where to be found, and there is no reference to the devil gene.
the trailer doesn't really tell a lot of the story but will see.
Nina and christie look hot though {-_-}.
So if you are a hardcore fan (like me) of the story it would be really disappointing, but as a random spectator it would be pretty good.

Bad.

1. Weird Story Line: Story is Jin trying to put an end to devil jin within him which means this was before he took control over the Zaibatsu. Yet, when you see the cast, Miguel appears as one of the participants. If you do not know the Tekken 6 storyline, Miguel joins tournament to take revenge on Jin for bombing the church (When Jin became head of the Mishima Zaibatsu) where his sister's wedding was taking place and for her death. Oh and how can I not forget about Christie and Jin making out and club scene? Hollywood-like aspects like such as those and fighting series just do not blend in too well and will make most audiences scratching their head (since most audiences will be Tekken game series fans). When you try to convert fighting series into a movie, you know it will be an automatic fail.

2. Display of Fighting: It just looks bad. I saw the scene where Dragunov was getting beat up and it seemed so... tedious and indifferent compared to other movies' fight scenes. When I think of Tekken, I think of extordinary fighting styles with exaggerated movements. This movie fails to capture the true essence of Tekken. Oh, and one more thing... Kazuya with an Axe. Enough said.

3. Casting and appearences: I am not going to lie. They did a great job with some of the casting but it could have been bit better (such as Heihachi, Law, Anna, etc.). Also, costumes and appearences for characters look very sloppy such as Raven, Miguel, Christie, Nina, Heihachi, and what's up with Kazuya and his beard? What made me particurally mad is the casting for Jin. They first decided to cast a white guy (idk his name) who starred at Luck of the Irish. Thank got he rejected. Come on Hollywood, I am getting really sick and tired of you guys casting white guys as some of our (I am Asian. Proud Korean) heroes such as Goku and Kyo Kusanagi. Also, I wished for more characters but I guess it will be over the budget.

When I first heard Dragon Ball movie was coming out I was stoked. But when I heard a white guy was portraying Goku, I knew the movie was going to blow. Goku to us is like what Super man is like to American folks. Come on Hollywood, just do not try.
