I would say that this is just a curiosity thing but since he is in 9th grade he really should know better. I wouldn't tell your boyfriend if he is the overprotective type... maybe if he is somewhat friends with your brother though, so that he could talk to him about what you saw. but that might put a lot of stress on him.
