No. It doesn't really make sense to me. Libya was wrong from the beginning they can't expect el baltaga bta3t Qathaffi to actually work everywhere in the world [I'm talking about his son's arrest in Geneva that led to all of this]. It's completely irrational but I'm really interested in seeing how this is all going to unravel and how they'll react to this. It's probably going to be quite amusing.

And I don't see why Arabs should do the same. For one thing our tourism would take a large blow. I have often found it unfair that a Brit can issue a visa on arrival to Egypt for less than they'd need to pay for dinner while an Egyptian has to go through an expensive excruciatingly long process to get a visa to England. But when I thought more of it, the intention of travelling is different so it's only natural to require different things. I would like to see a more appropriate price being asked for visas though, Britain charges no less than 50 GBP and we've got the Pyramids, ye know? [I know England's not a Schengen state, but...]. But still I don't think barring Schengen citizens is in any way necessary or helpful, it's actually quite stupid.

Is this a real question? Even people here would know that when a country completely bans citizens of 25 other countries from visiting based on a personal dispute with the president's son, that only means it's an indescribably backward banana republic and an absolute dictatorship with a ruler who's considerably f*cked up in the head and ought to be taken out. Muammar Al-Gaddafi is hated even by many Libyans. There's no difference between him and Idi Amin or Mobutu Sésé Seko or Jean-Bédel Bokassa or any other African despot calling himself a leader today. Of course no one in his right mind would agree with Gaddafi's latest monkeyshines.

I disagree of course , because now the whole EU countries will hate libya , for Al - Qaddafy's personal mistake ( they never were friends with libya , by the way ) . And why would the other arab countries ever do this ? i mean they have no reason . By the way , this guy is weird . i mean can you imagine that in 2003 he abandoned libya's WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION and paid almost 3 billion US dollars in compensation to the families of Pan Am flight 103 as well as UTA Flight 772 . just because he didn't want to end up like Saddam ??

peace :)

I'm just answerin for the sake of Muslima haha, idk what this is hehe

@Muslima: No prbz haha

@Zoser: To answer your question, after you explained all this to me haha, I thought it would be better to do the same thing as the Europeans and make it hard for them to attain a visa also. But after readin Tin's (this is not here) argument, I kinda changed my mind. She is right about the tourism thing, I mean Europeans are a large source of our money when it comes to tourism. I guess everything is just stirred up right now.

EDIT: LOL my dad was talkin about it in the dinner table today hehe. He said that Qadaffi is called "Magnoon Libya" because of all the stupid things he does, so I guess this is just another example hehe
