How much plaster do I need to make 25-30 handprint fossils?

I am planning a lesson on fossils with my home school group and I need an idea of how much I will need. Also any other ideas besides hand prints or leaves is welcome. I am planning this lesson for April so I still have plenty of time. Thanks!

I don't have any instructions. I am using a textbook that doesn't list any experiments. If I had instructions I wouldn't need to ask the question.
