The first two are both family names- Elaine is my grandma's first name, Renee is my mom's middle name, William is one grandpa's first name and the other's middle name, and Thomas is my dad and grandpa's first name.
I'm not even married yet, so I can't use my husband's family's names :) this question is just for fun!

I love William Thomas :) both names are strong names, and flow well together.
I'm not overly keen on James Paul, I think having two short names together doesn't always work well, although if you have a really long surname it wouldn't sound too bad.
Elaine Renee is okay, although I think it would flow better the other way around- Renee Elaine.
