Thoughts on the name Maeve?

I've only met one person my entire life with that name. She was a beautiful young woman so that's what I think any time i've heard that name. Like the name Molly, I think its a nice name, plus it unique and respectable. Go for it.

Due a revival.  I've always been fond of it as long as it's pronounced right.  It means "intoxicating one" due to how sovereignty was imagined to pass from a goddess representing the land to the king.

Love it. So nice to see a real name that is spelled correctly. And one that is not over-used or bizarre isa breath of fresh air.

Don't second guess yourself on this one.

It sounds harsh and rhymes with "grave."

Traditional Irish name, but unique enough that you are not likely to hear the name overused, like so many girls names that are popular today. Plus, it sounds good to the ear.
