Baby shower gift... should I get something else?

Question

I bought my friend the cutest baby photo album/ record book for her baby shower.  Someone got me this for mine and I LOVE it....

However, I totally forgot when I was buying this that the father of her baby totally skipped town on her and is NOT involved at all.  Not to mention I have no idea how well she knows this guy.  It's not like they were together for years- they had only been dating a short time.

So this baby book has the family tree to fill in, info about the daddy and daddy's family, etc...  would it be a good idea to get her a different gift?  

Just looking for a "what would you do" type of advice here... thanks!

She's your friend, you know her better than I do so I say, how do you think she'll react?  If I were in her shoes, I don't think that it would matter.  Just because there is no daddy doesn't mean that the baby doesn't have a complete family.  If it's that cute, give it to her.

Most baby books you find ask info about the daddy. So I personally think its fine.  If my daughters father wasnt in her life I would still want a book to write memories and things down in.  Its perfectly fine.  Its not liek you are giving her a plaque that says "Ha Ha daddy's a deadbeat!"

Give it to her anyway. She can either leave that page blank or rip it out if she doesn't like it. I wouldn't get something else for ONE page, there are plenty of other pages in the book that she can fill out.
