I can start my 1988 Buick electra without the key in the ignition...?
The car doesn't have a smart key, its just ghetto. Is there any chance of it stalling if I were to drive after starting it without putting the key in?

yep works good too , the only problem is if you go to turn the car off all the way, then it locks the ignition and the steering wheel ,and if you do not have the key with you, it may be a while before you get home this is common on gm cars, I have been doing this from the sixty's seventies and eighties, you can replace the ignition or leave it, the only problem I ever had was the time I turned the ignition off and it locked on a 68 impala, while at a deserted isolated beach 130 miles from home, I fixed it that time to run with no keys
