Is there an easy fix for a CD player that ejects a CD within 5 seconds?

its like it doesn't even try to read the discs it takes them in then spits them back out. infinity gold stereo came stock in Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The easiest fix is to replace the stereo since it is defective. If it is still new, bring it back.
