What does the new health care bill actually MEAN for the average citizen?

Any info is appreciated. Your thoughts are welcome too. :)

Also, is there somewhere I can read the bill itself?

You can google both the bill (HR 3590 I believe) and the reconciliation that was voted on Sunday. I would also read the info from the CBO office that they released about cost estimates on their website.

As for the effect on the average American it is far to soon to tell. Some of the provisions in the bill(s) don't go into effect for several years anyways...

I suppose right now you could say the effect is another headache while suffering through yet more rhetoric.

IT'S NOT OVER.

THE COURT BATTLES ARE JUST BEGINNING - THIS BILL IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL

Hope all the progressive dems voting for this health care reform have a big tube of KY jelly in their desk come November cause they're gonna need it!

Higher taxes, higher premiums, higher out-of-pocket expenses, less health care.
