I have a friend who had bacon bread when he was younger I need a recipe for this. Do you know how to make it? I need a recipe please.

Bread Machine Bacon Bread
2/3 Cup warm water
1 2/3 Cups white bread flour
1/3 Cup wheat bread flour
4 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
4 Tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon green or black pepper corns crushed well, more to taste
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
pinch garlic powder
1/4 Cup bacon ***
2 teaspoons yeast
***NOTE: cook bacon until almost crisp. set aside bacon fat, while you crumble cooked bacon, then remix the crumbled bacon with the fat before measuring it and adding to recipe.
this can be baked in the regular oven by mixing by hand, place in a greased bowl, cover and let rise, punch down and form into loaf pan for second rise then baking.
makes one one pound loaf

1 LB. Hickory smoked bacon
3/4 c. green pepper, chopped
3/4 c. onion, chopped
1 t. oil
2 large tubes of buttermilk biscuits
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 butter or margarine
Cook bacon till crispy. Drain grease and crumble bacon, set aside. In the same skillet saut onion and green pepper in the teaspoon of oil. Cut biscuits into 1/4s. Place in a large mixing bowl and add onion, green pepper, cheese, bacon and butter. Spray a 10" tube pan with non stick spray you can use a large loaf pan also. place into pan and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Immediately invert pan onto plate and serve warm.

No but I heard a rumor that David Bowie had some casts made of some of his favorite things and also Rod Stewart back in the day. I think a bronze of my favorite teenage foods would make nice decorations for my kitchen. That would be fried popcorn shrimp from Shoney's,Campbells potatoes soup,ham and thick sliced cheese w/ slaw sandwich made from a place called Beatties open kitchen,Large dill pickle,stove top stuffing, hardees mushroom burgers meal and pizza hut pizza. Would that food rot inside the bronze?When I was little I loved fifth avenue candy bar ,that can be there too.

Any foccacia recipe can also be adapted for a bacon bread - no alteration, just add "bacon".
