me and my friend are having a big debate. now listen, dont pick marine cause ur american and patriotic or something and u wanna become a marine, i want to know which has better hand to hand combat skills, mental training, better weapon choice, better all around, i need to know why its better and how its better.

well lets look at this logically one is a specialized warrior who dedicated years of their life to becoming the best of the best in there countries military and the other is someone who may not even be in a combat role. this is like comparing a Green Beret and an infantryman in the army, its not that either is bad but one is clearly better then the other. now i am just comparing spetnaz to the average enlisted marine, if you want a more realistic debate narrow down what your asking like a recon marine and spetnaz would be more of an argument.

If we are comparing recon marine vs spetz then Id have to say the Recon bc he has such a high amont of traing just to be a Marine let alone a Recon Marine.

the marine corps is better they have a mixed martial art and they have too much good will i know a 35 year old spetz from my cousin in russia when i went to vist her my brother a marine 32 fought with him they werent like trying to kill each other or anything they were trying to settle a debate and became friends but my brother micheal lile (the marine) won my cousin rachel and the spetznas andrew and us all went out for drinks after but micheal won i debated this for a while with my brother too i thought the spets would win but i was a little relieved when my brother did
i like the comment about the special forces but micheal is in the recon unit when they were fighting they both got some good hits in and they both broke each others noses but andrew (the spetz) was a little flashy he did lots of rolls and flippy stuff but i think that was his downfall cause micheal grabed andrews wrist when he tried to punch him after a roll and almost broke his arm i was suprised when andrew tapped but they are both good friends now the marines and spetz arnt to different really they are both good fighters and fight for theyre country and are proud.

A marine could mean any riflemen in the corps... he could be a cook/clerk/etc.
Spetsnaz is the Spec Forces unit that specializes in killing people.
IMO... this is a bad comparasion... but a Spetsnaz soldier is all around a better fighter since he has WAY more training.
