I suspect that everybody views extreme violence upon another person as being a bad thing.
Every (sane) person would be appalled at the sight of another person carving up a live person with a blade and inflicting tremendous pain and eventually killing the individual.
Every (sane) person would also view a helpful gesture as a good thing; e.g. helping an old person carry a heavy bag of groceries up the stairs and into his/her apartment.
So your inquiry really touches on the question of if there is actually anything that is universally ‘good’ or ‘bad’.
