i pressed charges and am waiting for the cops to call me!?

Question

two weeks ago i talked to a police officer about be molested over 12 years ago, the officer said, he would bring in the perv and question him, i was told he would call me back but have not herd any thing yet. does this mean there investgating or is  the case is on the back burner?

Most likely the detective will be handeling your case after the initial report by the officer is done. They probebly entered the suspect as WANTED and are waiting to arrest/question him before the case goes forward. They will contact you back, be patient.
