Bolt Thrower: There was a rumor going around late last night, that turned out to be false at the time. Now, as of 15 minutes ago, there is a message from his wife on his official website.

Since the website is down due to traffic, here is the message: "Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away. Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all. We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us. Please give us a few days of privacy to deal with this terrible loss. Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever." - Wendy Dio

I was so hoping he could beat this cancer. I am heartbroken now. I remember the first time I saw him walk out on stage to perform and I was so amazed at his voice and his presence. He was truly so special. A friend of mine met him once and told me how nice he was. I am glad I got to see him perform when I did. So sad. May he rest in peace.
BA: Heaven and Hell. Powerful live version with some great pictures. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PuVKVGC8vFk Holy Diver, Lady Evil, and so many more.
"Too Late" "The Temple of The King" "Catch The Rainbow" "Stand Up And Shout" "Man On The Silver Mountain" "Don't Talk To Strangers" "Stargazer" "Run With The Wolf" "Computer God" "Gypsy" "Holy Diver" "Breathless" "Neon Knights" "Children Of The Sea" "Turn Up The Night" "Voodoo" "A Light in the Black" "The Sign Of The Southern Cross" "All The Fools Sailed Away" "Invisible" "Caught In The Middle" "Rainbow In The Dark"
Pray to whichever God or higher power if you believe to take care of Ronnie wherever he is now. Tough day for rock and metal fans. God bless you Man on the Silver Mountain \m/ Time to crank all your records loud enough for you to hear in metal heaven.
BQ: I could never pick one, lately I've been enjoying Eating The Cannibals, but Dio's too good to pick one. I spun Holy Diver all night.
I've always liked his stuff. I can't listen to Children of the Sea from the album Heaven and Hell by Black Sabbath without feeling down since I heard the news. The songs just brings out this sad tune and the Heaven and Hell song is so powerful now. Holy Diver and Rainbow in the Dark too. R.I.P. Long live the Godfather of Heavy Metal
I dont pay attention to celebrity news because it could be false and be rumours. Its sad a day that a legend passed away from stomach cancer that was trying to battle the odds of getting better that if he did feel better that he was going to busy for the coming months with Heaven and Hell getting back into the studio and Ronnie's band recording new material
