I have an Oscar that is 6"?

He is now in a 20 gallon tank. How big of a tank is he going to need?

In theory he could get 12" within the next 6 months, and with an average 20g, he wouldn't be able to turn around! They are very fast growing fish, he needs an upgrade asap.

Bare minimum REALLY is 75g, purely for space issues. Many do say a 55g, but that can be a little tight seeing as an adult Oscar will hit between 14"-16", they need to have ample turning room without hitting the sides!

Absolute bare minimum, 55 gallons. 75 is considered better. I have an 85 for mine, which is 10" and still growing.
