As long as you have the space they are compatible. Chances are the pleco will actually boss the Oscar around. A large Oscar and small pleco is a dangerous combo, but if the pleco is larger they will be fine.

oscar will be fine and will out grow the pleco soon enough. get pleco out of tank if oscars breed. pleco will eat all the eggs at night

they will be just fine together. The only thing you have to worry is about is your Oscar getting really big down the road and trying to eat your pleco, but that is years away.

Fish do no longer adapt to their surrounding and end starting to be. they are going to finally outgrow a tank of fifty 5 gallons. Oscars and Pleco get massive....i might placed money into a minimum of 75-a hundred gallons. I had an oscar in my fifty 5 gallon...i replace into advised that they might attain 18 inches...regrettably my oscar jumped out of my aquarium and died..i desperate against getting yet another..because of the actuality that i might have had to finally upgraded from my fifty 5 gallon. good luck.
