No signs of labor along with it. No contractions or anything. And we had sex 2 days ago so maybe you are right. I'll just keep an eye on it.

Lots of women lose some of their mucus plug early on - it can regenerate if it's not yet time for labor. If you are concerned, you can always call your dr. and ask to come in and be checked out, but if you're not feeling contractions then it is probably fine.

TMI warning; it might not have been your mucus plug. After i have sex with my husband the next two days i will expel globs of his semen and it looks like nasty stringy snot.

It may not be this I was just giving another suggestion, i have also heard that sometimes you can lose it early on and it "grows back" or whatever.

Good Luck!

It's completely normal to lose the plug. The only reason you'd need to worry is if it is accompanied by blood or if you start having normal contractions. I bet I've lost mine 5-10 times during this pregnancy alone.

Have you had sex or an ultrasound recently? If it is the mucus plug it is too early. You need to call doc!
