I have been waking up at night with terrible wrist, hand and arm pain, it goes away by mid morning. I asked the nurse at my Dr's office and she said this is common in pregnancy.
Has anyone else experienced this and does it go away after birth?
Thank you

I had the exact same thing and it went away right after I had my son. Try wearing a wrist brace at night. That seemed to help me a lot. Also massaging your wrists before going to bed to relieve that fluid.
The reason symptoms are worse at night may be related to the flexed-wrist sleeping position and/or fluid accumulating around the wrist and hand while lying flat. Carpal tunnel syndrome may be an impermanent state that totally resolves or it can continue and develop. These sensations are often more distinct at night and can awaken sufferers from sleep.

I experienced the same thing around the same time in my pregnancy. Yes it does go away after pregnancy, as soon as you lose the fluid you have been retaining. I wore a carpal tunnel brace when I slept and it helped a little.
Yup. It's ordinary. It is regularly being pregnant precipitated carpal tunnel. Happened to me and plenty of of my pregnant peers. It's a type of unlucky matters no person tells you approximately till it occurs. It must depart after supply. I feel mine was once greater tomorrow.
