Did all of you hear about Ricky Steamboat suffering a brain aneurysm? I hope he will be okay after this. They say he has a good chance. I also hope it is not from what happened Monday night. They said he was banged up but didn't really seem hurt. Question: Do you think the NXT 2 guys will join Nexus once they get eliminated?

Yes I did. Sad injury but I hope he recovers. On Monday June 28th, 2010, Steamboat received (kayfabe) injuries made by The Nexus. But on July 1st, 2010, WWE.com reported that Steamboat had legitmate injuries and it's still unknown whether if The Nexus did it or not. Question: Yes I do. They will (kayfabe) join The Nexus.
Well, this is why WWE shouldn't do six on one Beat downs, it is one thing when it is to someone like Cena, who is young and in his Prime (This is still bad though), but when they have Nexus go after Vince McMahon, Ricky Steamboat, that is going to far! (Also, it has nothing to do with Wrestling!)
Anyways, hopefully Ricky will Be Alright, and yeah, I am kind of assuming it is from the attack from the Nexus Group on Monday Night, I think it is a fairly safe assumption, and I'm not just bashing WWE or Nexus, Ricky Steamboat knows the Dangers of Pro wrestling, but WWE should tone it down before someone gets seriously hurt, it's not like WWE needs to go that far for the ratings, and even if they did, it would still be wrong!
Could happen, I don't think it will, but you never know and with Wade Barrett's Visa Problems and Daniel Bryan being legitimately released, WWE might want a couple extra guys to be a part of the Group!
Oh man I heard he was hospitalised but I never thought it was something to do with his brain, I thought it was cracked ribs, but a brain aneurysm sounds much worse I hope he pulls through... this really should not have happened, especially at the fact it was only for a 10 min promo. IF that is what contributed to his brain aneurysm
BQ: I would think the NXT2 guys would invade SD! so then in a couple of weeks. It would be Nexus vs NXT2 Rookies
On June 28, 2010, he returned to WWE Raw to promote his new DVD only to be attacked and injured by the NXT season 1 graduates. On WWE's website the following day, it was announced that in storyline, Steamboat suffered injuries from the attack. However, on July 1 WWE's website announced that the prior night, Steamboat felt legitimate pain in his neck and shoulders and as a result, was now legitimately hospitalized. Fortunately, initial prognoses are that doctors do not think his neck/shoulder pain is related to the angle three days earlier, and his overall health is "good to excellent", including recovery.
