Ok, when recording a music demo does it matter if You use music from an artist? Like if You plan on sending the demo to a Record Label? Or do You have to get You're own Music please help me with this!
I don't have my own music because I don't know how to write music.

if youre sending music to a label, why the hell would you send a cover?
if youre trying to impress a label enough to sign you, why wouldnt you send your own music
edit: if you dont have youre own music, then you shouldnt be sending anything to record labels.

If you're a band or solo musician it should definitely be your own music. They probably don't want cover bands.
If you're just a singer, they probably wouldn't mind you singing a known song.
