HI Vannili........
Yes, you should turn over your mower, (put a pan, or trash can lid under the gas cap, to catch any spillage), then measure the length X width. Go to Home Depot, or Lowes, costs $8-$12 for a replacement. It takes a cresent wrech, or a socket ratchet wrench to loosen the 2 bolts that hold the blade to the shaft. They are usually really tight, so spray some WD-40, or penetrate oil on them first, and let sit awhile before you try......or hit the bolt FIRMLY with a hammer a couple times to loosen.
Cheaper than SHARPENING, and much better for a good cut on the lawn !
Good luck my freind !

Most places that sell lawn mowers also sell replacement blades. If not, try a Hardware Store. They may be able to sharpen the blade such that the chip is removed. It may work fine, even with the chip.

Sure. Just enter the mower model & number online, in Google, say, & I'm sure you'll find out the blade you need & it's cost.

you in basic terms choose the size of the blade and the kind call helps. purchase a clean one at everywhere that sells lawnmowers. i'm getting my areas at sears. we merely positioned a clean one on reason i did the comparable subject with a river stone. ya choose an adjustable wrench or probly a a million/2 in wrench to take off the previous blade. in case you're taking that with you there's no threat of having the incorrect one. they fee decrease than 10 greenbacks relying on the place you're and the place you go. solid success, CabbyP
