Go and buy the correct grade of oil, any thing else will do for a mile or two but run it any further and apart from new oil you could also possibly need a new engine.

rule # 1 ..any oil is better than no oil
2 depends on what type oil...4 cycle oil is fine almost the same...2 cycle oil not so good.[but better than nothing,,rule 1]
