Is it OK to do this on ebay?

I am selling an item via a regular auction on Ebay and a buyer sent me a message saying he needed the item ASAP and my auction goes for three more days, he asked me to put a buy now option on the item if we could agree on the price so he could buy now and get the item earlier. I know what I want for the item and would be ok with it if he gave me my price I want I just don't want to violate the rules

I'm pretty sure that would be fine. 
It doesn't sound like it would violate any rules, it's pretty straightforward.

It should be fine, Just edit your listing and add a buy it now price.
But also make sure to put in the description that its sold just to make sure nobody else buys it before he does.
