"Scott Eric" sounds pretty good, especially when it's pronounced with a specific articulation of which I am particularly fond.
Clearly the majority prefers "Eric Scott." That's not surprising. "Scott Eric" isn't for everyone. I believe only a small minority of people have the intellect, wit, and humor to appreciate, embrace and enjoy "Scott Eric." While the masses will pursue what appears to be the more linguistically pleasing "Eric Scott," they may discover that it's just because they don't have a clue how to use their tongue. Those who choose the road less traveled are likely to discover a much richer overall experience.
