Everytime his name is mentioned on ESPN, I change the channel or mute the television. It's a joke. ugh.

This Haynesworth vs Shanahan p*ss*ng contest is way out of control. The atmosphere in the Redskins locker room has to be toxic. Redskin fans deserve better than this.

Coaches generally win these disputes. Sorry Albert, unless your last name is Manning, Favre, or Brady, you are gonna lose this battle.

After the preseason game against the Ravens, Haynesworth was quoted in the media as saying, "I’m a ninth-year pro. I don’t think I should have been out there in the third quarter.”

Sorry again Albert, you're playing a new position in a different defensive scheme, and you are 3rd string. You need the game practice. 3rd stringers always play in the second half of preseason games.

I don't know what kind of salary cap hit the Redskins would have to take if they cut Haynesworth, but it's no doubt huge and multi-year. Don't think many teams would consider a trade and take on his ridiculous contract.

So, it's a battle that will continue into the season. There is no way Haynesworth deserves to be a starter. First he'd have to change his attitude, then show me he's earned the starter job on the field.

No, the dude can't even pass the physical tests that a woman reporter almost passed and actually did better on than Haynesworth. He's out of shape. If he can't pass the test then I'd either sit him on the bench or cut him. I'd send a clear message to the team if I was the coach. I don't care how well you did last year. What's important is this year. If you can't cut the mustard you're going to get cut. A coach needs all of his players giving 110%. And if you have a lazy player that won't even give it 50% you're going to have a number of players starting to take after him. Same goes with trouble makers like Brandon Marshall and Jay Cutler. Josh McDaniels was smart to get rid of both of them if they are causing problems. After TO became whiny look at how little he did to help the Cowboys and Bills, little to nothing.

I don't really see Haynesworth being able to add much to the team. Give a backup the chance to step up and prove himself and hold Haynesworth's starting position and he might just totally surprise you. Because that backup will fight hard and give you 110% to keep that position.

I'd tell them right up front. I'm going to play whoever's playing the best. It's about the team winning, not individual stats. So if your backup is playing better, guess who's going to be the new starter.

He deserves to be a starter at the buffet table. With all the crap he is doing and crying about not wanting to play in the 3-4 he shouldnt start at all. But with his bloated salary he will start

they could have by no ability paid him that plenty at the beginning. What have been they questioning? Then they provide McNabb a great settlement too, even nevertheless he's previous his best and not appearing properly in any respect. i won't be able to think of how difficult it is going to be to be a Redskins fan, i don't be responsive to how anybody does it.
