Do you think Albert Haynesworth got what he deserved?

Almost. Sure suspending him was the right the thing to do, but the best thing to do would be to use him in a trade. I don't disagree with suspending him, because its obvious that he doesn't want to play. I don't care what he says. If his actions don't line up with his words then he's a liar. More so, if he really wanted to show what he could do on the field, he should have recognized that its not his team and that he should adapt to whatever defensive scheme that is necessary. Trading Haynesworth at this point is the best option. Releasing him would mean you didn't get a return on investment. Why shell out millions of dollars, just to release him to free agency? If he is worth anything then another team would pick him up. The Redskins should look at trade offers at some point, and see if they can get a decent draft pick from him. The worst case scenario is to cut all ties and release him. But ultimately its not Haynesworth's fault. He is to blame for some, but ultimately Dan Snyder is at fault for giving him a large contract for nothing. Also Shannahan isn't handling the situation correctly, because if he were, then Haynesworth would know just how much of a team environment it is.

It's a hollow victory for Shanny. Haynesworth already got 40 million guaranteed. Thats more than most players in the league can ever hope to see. You think Fat Albert is unhappy now that he doesn't have to see Shanny for the rest of the season.
Oh yeah, and Albert's set for the lockout too, if there is one.

Only, if he is released by the 'Skins and no other team will sign him because he's a douchebag. He will forfeit something like $830K for the suspension, he should have to pay back every penny he made for the plays he sat out and the practices he missed too.

not at all !!!! he was promised that he would be entering 4-3 and they wouldn't go to 3-4 , and as far as the owner giving him 100 million id do the same thing as he did the its the owners fault he new what he was getting him self into , he should have spent that 100 million on a coach and a manger 1st -its funny if you look around the nfl at the cowboys raiders redskins ,besides they wouldn't be owners they would have been coaches if they new what they were doing!!!!
