Trying to set up a Header to have a title + page number.?

Im using microsoft office 2007 or what ever the newest 1 is. I keep setting up a header, and then i try to add a page number and it just overwrites the header with ONLY a page number. I need both without it deleting the other. any idea?

I just tried this on my computer for you.

Step 1: Go to insert, set page numbers for top of page.
Page number should appear on the right upper corner.
Step 2: Go to view: add header and box should appear.
The cursor should be at the left upper corner of the box, type in whatever you want,
it does NOT affect the page number placement on mine.
