When you walk in the room and hmmmmmm hummmm hmmm starts?

Would you infer that someone just wants to be left alone and they start humming when you enter the room? I know it's nothing I did but they don't talk and bottle it up. I'm not sure if they are trying to put on a happy face or just say "not in the mood to talk." Not sure if it is a habit or a deterrent.

Are you sure they weren't "humming" before you entered the room? I'd say it sounds like you interrupted their private fun time. Please hide your eyes and exit the room until they are done.

Depends on the room you walked onto ...(restroom vs. living room)

... and how you know they weren't already humming BEFORE you came in...

I hum when I'm in a really good mood or thinking deeply.
